For more than 10 years as a professional designer I thrive on ideation, innovation and problem solving. I can work successfully under deadlines, with others, and independently. I love conceptualizing, research, and the pursuit of a solution. Experienced in all the standard graphics and business software I work well juggling several projects and have the experience to balance time and project milestones to reach the project goals. I offer diverse skills from working in the corporate structure, at small agencies, and for myself. I have successfully worked as part of a team to complete multiple-piece marketing packages, and independently to conceptualize and present ideas to a larger audience. My broad design history includes deadline-oriented corporate campaigns, human resource benefit packages, advertisements and event collateral, as well as surface/pattern designs, corporate identities, logos, and style guides. I’ve created essential marketing collateral materials for corporations such as Oglivy & Mathers, George Weston Bakeries, and Greenpoint Bank, and brand identities for businesses and nonprofit organizations. I’ve also worked on key messaging materials for nonprofits such as Greenpoint YMCA, Advocates for a 9/11 Fallen Heroes Memorial, and YM&YWHA of Washington Heights and Inwood. My surface design portfolio balances the hand and the computer to complement each others strengths. These patterns begin with ideas and sketches and develop into multi-layered color designs created with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. The diversity of my paintings and artwork reflect my many desires and whims. I enjoy the process and the ideation and will work across subject matters from Construction Landscapes painted for large construction companies to portraits and still lifes. | |
